1. Who you are contracting with

Hexo ("the Service") is provided by Cristina Santamarina ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

Hexo is a minimalist online settlers-style game with solo play against a bot, live rooms with friends, and optional paid "Table" features (permanent rooms with private rankings and custom sheep/city naming).

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, be of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have parental consent), and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully; (b) commit fraud, spam or harass other players; (c) infringe intellectual property rights; (d) probe, scan, scrape or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service; (e) upload malware; (f) reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service beyond what these Terms allow.

5. User content

You retain rights to content you submit (e.g. custom sheep or city names, chat). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and process that content solely to operate the Service. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, branding and documentation are owned by Cristina Santamarina and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial play.

7. Payments — Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

9. Service availability

We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change or be discontinued.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the Service, or breach of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete associated data after a reasonable period.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the seller's domicile.
